PilotBean Web Design and Development

The new PilotBean website has recently been redesigned to give it a new look and feel whilst lots of new content has been added to make the website more modern and up to date. As well as adding company and product information, the PilotBean site also includes a resource section which contains useful information for the web development community on search engine optimisation and best practice for building HTML emails.
The website has been built using XHTML strict and CSS to ensure it uses web standards and has been developed with web accessibility in mind to ensure that all users regardless of technology or ability are able to use the website.
The website has also been tested in numerous browsers including IE6, IE7, IE8 and the latest versions of Opera, Safari and Firefox to ensure that as many users as possible are able to have the same experience when browsing the PilotBean site.
The back-end of the website uses a content management system called PilotSite that has been built in house by PilotBean. PilotSite is a web based content management system which has been developed using ASP.net to enable non-technical users to create, update and manage their websites using a WYSIWYG editor. The content management system itself delivers accessible, web standard, search engine friendly code which enables not only the PilotBean site but also customer websites to be delivered to the highest standard.
